Frank Caruso
Nasce a Milano nel 1968, ed inizia a suonare la chitarra e il pianoforte all'età di 8 anni, iniziando da subito gli studi classici. A 12 anni pubblica il primo disco, un 45 giri per una band di rock melodicao denominata "MACID". A 17 anni Frank fonda i FIREHOUSE, band nata fra alcuni compagni di scuola, che arriverà alla pubblicazione di 2 album, uno dei quali (LABYRINTH) distribuito in tutta Europa.Apprezzato chitarrista dalla critica nazionale, negli anni '80 e nei primi anni'90, collabora con diversi artisti della scena italiana ed inizia così l'attività di session-man in vari studi di registrazione, collaborando fra gli altri anche con Franco Battiiao oltre ad altre importanti produzioni musicali del panorama italiano.Nel 1992, terminati gli studi di Musica Sacra, apre il proprio studio di registrazione dove inizia la realizzazione di colonne sonore e musiche ad uso televisivo, collaborando con le maggiori emittenti radiofoniche e televisivie (RAI - Mediaset - Radio 101 - Rock FM).

Nel 1994 inizia una vera e propria collaborazione con il gruppo Mediaset per cui Frank realizza una serie di spot pubblicitari ed alcune importanti sigle. Stanco di produrre musica pewr altri artisti e della attività di session man, nel '96 Frank decide di dedicarsi ad un nuovo progetto e nel '97, dalle ceneri dei FIREHOUSE, nascono gli ARACHNES
Nel 1998 gli ARACHNES pubblicano "THE GODDESS TEMPLE" per la Lucretia Records, e la band attira l'attenzione di tutta la critica internazionale comparendo in compilation anche al fianco di band del calibro di STRATOVARIOUS e ANGRA.Nel 2000 la prima collaborazione con l'etichetta Underground Symphony per cui ARACHNES pubblicano il mini cd "METAMORPHOSIS", che segna definitivamente il cambio di stile della band verso un sound Power/Prog/Symphonic.Nel triennio 2001/2003 la Band collabora con Scarlet Records, e realizza una favolosa triade di album distribuiti in tutto il mondo con grande successo di pubblivo e di critica:

- 2001 PARALLEL WORLDS pubblicato e distribuito in Europa e Sud America
- 2002 APOALYPSE, che aprirà le porte al mercato giapponese
- 2003 PRIMARY FEAR che conferma e consolida la presenza della band in Europa e Giappone

Nello stesso periodo Frank continua la produzione musicale per la televisione, e nel 2005 termina le registrazioni di IN PRAISE OF SCIENCE che verrà perà pubblicato nel 2006 per scelte della label.
Nel 2006, dopo mesi di trattative con varie label, Frank decide di ripetere la collaborazione con Undergound Symphony già sperimentata nel 2000, ed inizia a lavorare sul progetto solista KALEIDOSCOPE, un album che Frank descrive così: "E' l'espressione del puro divertimento chitarristico, senza nessuna pretesa commerciale e fuori dalle tendenze di mercato, un gioioso susseguirsi di note per il puro piacere della musica". La scelta "Propriamente artistica" direziona la produzione più verso la distribuzione via internet, arrivando anche al grande editore GUITAR9 e distribuendo così il solo cd di Frank anche in AmericaTra il 2006 e il 2007 intanto realizza un nuovo pacchetto di 20 brani in stile blues ad uso televisivo e dal gennaio 2007 inizia a dedicarsi al fantastico nuovo progetto denominato DARKLIGHT che vede la presenza anche di una voce femminile.Da novembre 2007 Frank collabora con l'importante rivista COMPUTER MUSIC & PROJECT STUDIO per la realizzazione di articoli inerenti la registrazione digitale.Attualmente Frank è impegnato nella promozione del nuovo progetto DARKLIGHT e nella stesura di nuovi brani per ARACHNES.

Born in Milan in 1968, Frank started to play the guitar and the piano at 8, and started to study immediately classical music.
At 12 years old he published the first album, 45 LP for a melodic rock band called “MACID”.
At 17 years Frank create the FIREHOUSE, band that was born with some friends at school - it will arrive to the publication of two album and one of them “Labyrinth” was distributed in all Europe.
Appreciated guitarist from the national critic, in the ‘80 and in the first years of `the 90, he collaborates with several artists of the Italian scene and begins its activity of session-man in various studies of recording, and he will collaborate with Franco Battiato and others important productions of the Italian scene.
In 1992, he finished the studies of SACRED MUSIC, opens a study of recording where he begins to realize soundtracks and music for television, collaborating with the greatest Italians television groups and radio.
In 1994 he started a collaboration with Mediaset group for which he realized many TV spot and some soundtracks. Tired to produce music for other artists and the activity of session-man, in `96 Frank decides to dedicate himself to a new project and in the' 97, from the ashes of FIREHOUSE, the ARACHNES were born.
In 1998 ARACHNES published “THE GODDESS TEMPLE” for Lucretia Records, the band attracted the attention of international critic and ARACHNES enter in the international metal scene, appearing in compilation with STRATOVARIOUS and ANGRA.
In 2000 the first collaboration with the label Underground Symphony and ARACHNES publish “METAMORPHOSIS”, that signs the definitive change of style that becames more Prog-Power-Symphonic.
In the 2001/2003 ARACHNES sign with Scarlet Records and in the next three years they start to work very hard and they published:
- 2001 PARALLEL WORLDS, published and distributed in all Europe and South America.
- 2002 APOCALYPSE, that it will open the Japanese market.
- 2003 PRIMARY FEAR, that it confirms the presence of the band in the European and Japanese market.
In the main time Frank produce music for television; in 2005 ARACHNES finishes to record “IN PRAISE OF SCIENCE” and not for their choice the album was published in 2006.
In 2006, after months of several negotiations with italian and foreign labels, Frank decides to repeat the collaboration with Underground Symphony, already experimented in 2000, this time for the production of his solo album “Kaleidoscope”, an album that Frank said:
‘It’s the expression of the pure guitar entertainment, without a commercial business and chosen dictated from the tendencies of market, a joyful following of notes only for the pure taste of music”. This “properly artistic” position has carried to a new contact with the label and to a distribution choices addressed to new shapes of commercialization like Internet.
During 2006/2007 a new pack of 20 song in blues style was produced for the television network.
In January 2007 Frank start to work to a new project called DARKLIGHT with female voice.
In November 2007 start a new collaboration with the big important magazine COMPUTER MUSIC & PROJECT STUDIO.

Now Frank dedicated all the energy to promote the new project DARKLIGHT and writing new song for ARACHNES band
