I’m so proud and honored to finally present my new solo album, after 10 years from the first chapter (Kaleidoscope – 2004). Over recent years I have been active both in the recording process and live with many other projects (Arachnes, Strings 24 and above all Thunder Rising with Mark Boals and Vivaldi Metal Project) and these experiences, together with constant television production, have led me to write Kaleidoscope Vol II.
The album no more but a story, an account of impressions and colours that I have experienced through playing and composing different genres, with a particular sensitivity towards the cinematic sound that has inspired me lately thanks to new experiences in sound tracks. Therefore it is not one single style, if not the guitar phrase: riffs and arrangements deliberately range from funk to metal, just as colours and sensations meet and clash in a kaleidoscope. I want to thank all those who have accompanied me on this journey, all the fabulous guests, first of all ROB ROCK (who in his career wrote a piece of the story of the Classic Melodic Rock) for his availability and humanity. Thanks to Lion Music for believing in my project, Gabriele Baroni for the clever Mix and Mastering, and to everyone who wants to hear and maybe write their own impressions and colours ….

E’ con grande orgoglio e onore che finalmente vede la luce il mio nuovo album solista, dopo oltre 10 anni dal primo capitolo (Kaleidoscope – 2004). In questi anni sono stato attivo sia discograficamente che Live con molti altri progetti, (Arachnes, Strings 24 e sopratutto Thunder Rising con Mark Boals e Vivaldi Metal Project) e proprio queste esperienze, insieme alla costante attività di produzione televisiva, mi hanno portato a scrivere Kaleidoscope Vol II.

L’album non vuole essere niente di più che un racconto, di impressioni e colori che ho vissuto e sto vivendo suonando e componendo diversi generi musicali, con una particolare sensibilità verso il cinematic sound che ultimamente mi appassiona grazie alle nuove esperienze in ambito di colonne sonore. Non un unico stile quindi, se non il fraseggio chitarristico: riff e arrangiamenti spaziano volutamente dal funk al metal, cosi come colori e sensazioni si incontrano e scontrano in un caleidoscopio. Voglio ringraziare tutti quanti mi hanno accompagnato in questo cammino, tutti i favolosi guest, innanzitutto ROB ROCK (che nella sua carriera ha scritto un pezzo di storia del Classic Melodic Rock)per la sua disponibilità e umanità. Grazie a Lion Music per aver creduto nel mio progetto, a Gabriele Baroni per il sapiente Mix e Mastering, e a tutti quanti avranno voglia di ascoltare e magari scrivere le proprie impressioni e i propri colori….

Frank Caruso - Kalidoscope Vol 2 Thanks to Vivaldi Project Frank Caruso is now in touch with ROB ROCK, the singer of Impellitteri and rock icon for his project M.A.R.S. with ROCK, Tommy Aldridge (Drums – Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, Quit Riot etc.) and Tony Macalpine.

In the new cd that Frank is working on, ROB ROCK sings the single that will soon be available with its own new video , signed by Frank Caruso – Rob Rock!

In this new project will also play with Frank, Alessandro del Vecchio (keyboards), Andrea De Paoli (keyboards), Dino Fiorenza (bass), Maestro Mistheria (keyboards) as guest.
